Rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC-C) plastic cable protection pipe

Chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (PVG-C) plastic cable conduits are made mainly of vaporized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-C) resin, with the addition of necessary processing AIDS, and formed through extrusion. They are a type of improved power sheath pipe with special physical properties, mainly used for the laying of power cables, serving to guide and protect. It can remain undistorted and withstand the high temperature generated by overload and short circuit of high-voltage power cables above 30,000 volts. The pipes are connected by flared socket and spigot, which is convenient for installation and construction, has a low project cost and a short cycle. CPVC products are currently recognized as green and environmentally friendly products. Its excellent physical and chemical properties are increasingly favored by the power and general industries

Product Description

Its excellent physical and chemical properties have been increasingly valued and widely applied in the power and communication industries. The use of CPVC buried power cable protection pipes for the laying of power cable pipelines is an inevitable trend for future development.

Product performance characteristics

Light weight: The weight is generally 1/10 of that of similar pressure pipes and 1/6 of that of steel pipes, making transportation and installation convenient.

Convenient construction: The conduit is composed of components such as joints and waterproof sealing brackets. The design is reasonable and the construction is convenient, without the need to pour a concrete protective layer. The support adopts a modular connection, which is easy to install and can significantly shorten the construction period. It contains no radioactive carcinogens and has remarkable economic and social benefits.

Excellent corrosin resistance: PVC-C material has excellent resistance to corrosion by chemical solvents such as acids, alkalis, and salts. It does not crack when exposed to grease and can adapt to various soils and working environments.

High strength, heat resistance and long service life: The Vicat softening temperature of PVC-C power cable conduits reaches above 93 °C, which is higher than that of ordinary PVC-U pipes. Compared with the traditional asbestos and cement form, it has the characteristics of good flexibility, high temperature resistance, less prone to cracking and aging, long service life and no radioactive pollution. Its strength can replace that of steel pipes and it overcomes the problems of steel pipes being prone to corrosion and the formation of a closed magnetic circuit, which can cause the single-core cable to overheat and get damaged.

Excellent electrical performance: PVC-C pipes are flame-retardant by themselves, self-extinguishing when removed from the fire source, have a high volume resistivity, and excellent insulation performance. CPVC buried voltage power cables can withstand voltages above 30,000 volts. In the current urban power grid renovation, voltage power cables are generally below 30,000 volts. Therefore, for urban power grids, the electrical insulation performance of this protective pipe is good and it is safer to use.

The performance-to-price ratio is relatively superior: The price of PVC-C pipes is slightly lower than that of similar cement pressure pipes and 20% lower than that of similar steel pipes, and the overall cost can be reduced by 15%.
